Best Prediction Market Sites Like Novig

Kalshi’s depth of sports markets goes neck and neck with what you get at Novig. While Kalshi also has markets in non-sports events, such as politics, finance and various novelty cultural categories, it is well documented that most of the trading volume is in sports. That lends to great market volume, ample liquidity in props, and (like Novig), you can also build SGPs and parlays on Kalshi. The platform is well established, and it has excellent accessibility.

For instance, where most prediction markets only offer a handful of deposit/withdrawal methods, Kalshi even supports Venmo, PayPal and Cash App deposits and withdrawals. The only big shortcoming is the fee schedule, which can eat deeply into your margins if you take orders and close positions before they settle, so value bettors have to be careful.

OG is an exciting addition to this list because it is new, it has rewards for users, and the platform has a deep expanse of sports event contracts. You can make predictions on sports, financial, politics, culture, climate, and a plethora of other categories, and among sports there are 10+ subcategories. Besides game outcomes, futures and live trades, you can also pick out spreads and totals – both of which come with adjustable sliders so you can tweak the lines to your preferred ones. The parlay building is an excellent addition, although we do have to note that you don’t get as much freedom at OG.com – not all markets can be combined into single trades.

Then, this platform also rolls out daily trade and boost campaigns, and has a recurring free to enter Perfect Picks challenge. Betting rewards are rife at OG, although you have to stay sharp because a lot are short-lived. This has the same exciting feel as Novig, and while it may not offer as many niche markets and have some parlay restrictions, OG comes highly recommended as an alternative to Novig.

ProphetX is perhaps the closest to Novig as it has a very similar story. It too was a peer to peer sweepstakes betting site before it became CFTC registered, and then underwent a complete renovation to become a prediction market. ProphetX also only covers sports and has those peer to peer betting mechanisms where you can check volume by percentage, open new positions and pick from deep sports markets. However, there are a few differences between the two, ProphetX has slightly more advanced data analytics so you can track bets better, and it has a completely different trading fee mechanism.

As my full ProphetX review explains in more detail, the trading fee is divided into commission on straight trades and a variable fee for parlays. It has a 2% trading fee on net gains per market for straight trades, but for parlays you get a variable fee (minimum 0.004 per contract). Novig, on the other hand, has the better sports coverage, with more parlay building opportunities and early payout to support hedging.

Polymarket US has competitive market depth, large liquidity and fast trade execution, living up to its reputation among the biggest prediction markets in America. Like at Novig, you can delve deep into predictions on a single game, browsing alternate line totals, spreads, and even occasional props and player picks. Though Polymarket doesn’t have parlay building options.

The prediction market has a variable fee schedule, and can range from as low as 0.5% up to 3% for taking orders, and then extra if you sell the positions before the market settles. Polymarket also has live trades, some of which have live streams, as well as a plethora of futures markets and an excess of non-sports related event contracts.

Plus500 is a trading app and prediction market rolled into one. You can build financial portfolios with shares, speculate on Forex movements, buy ETFs and even trade digital assets like cryptocurrencies. Then, you can toggle to Prediction Markets on Plus500, where the platform has event contracts for sports, politics, culture and more. The sports selection is good, but Plus500 doesn’t go as much into props or alternate lines as Novig. It has better market volume and liquidity for game outcomes and futures.

But betting value at Plus500 is quite high, especially given its fixed fee schedule. This platform is possibly the best all-rounder we have reviewed, for financial trading and prediction markets, and the flexible payment methods and responsive customer support back that up. Plus500 may not beat Novig in sports depth, but it can provide higher value and more liquidity for high rollers to open positions against.
