BetMGM Sportsbook has an awesome welcome bonus, but that is not the only reason this sportsbook continuously draws in bettors. Behind the veneer of the lucrative welcome bonus, BetMGM offers a versatile sportsbook that has comprehensive sports coverage and a variety of parlay betting features. Our favorites are the Easy Parlay and the detailed SGP builder. With Easy Parlay, you can draft up multi-game (or multi-sports) parlays in the blink of an eye, and it can be used for both pregame and live wagers. The SGP builder gives you a blank canvas to build personalized wagers, with hit rate percentages and stats on each wager to get more insights.

Promos are supplied on a regular basis at BetMGM Sportsbook, and these mostly include boosts, second-chance bonus bets, and jackpot pools. BetMGM keeps its offers short and sweet, so that every week you can get new opportunities and luxurious perks. On the subject of luxury, the sportsbook is also connected to the MGM Rewards. You can rack up points for your betting, and redeem these for bonus bets, as well as collect birthday gifts and 1st win anniversary presents. Climb the tiers and the point earning rate multiplies, with access to premier customer support, invitations to special MGM rooms or events, and at the highest level, a fully dedicated VIP host for your sports betting.

DraftKings is synonymous with sports betting in the states, and it delivers a truly kingly assortment of wagers for avid sports bettors. Few sportsbooks do parlay betting, player props, alternative lines, and live betting better than DraftKings Sportsbook. For the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and soccer leagues, you can take your predictions into all niche player predictions, micro bets, and minute markets to put your knowledge to the test. DraftKings has an outstanding set of features for parlay betting, with SGPs, SGPx, teasers, round robins, and more.

Beyond the welcome bonus, DraftKings supplies a great variety of recurring promos. If you aren’t snapping up generous profit boosts, bonus bets, or parlay boost tokens, you can keep an eye out for any recurring Bet & Get offers and survivor pools. FanDuel Sportsbook is one of the big dogs in US betting, and for good reason. This sportsbook prides itself on a massive pool of bets, combining extensive global sports coverage with deep betting markets. In numbers, FanDuel covers 20+ sports categories, has fantasy apps, casino games, a racebook, and a bunch of research features. Most notable of these are the excellent parlay hub, FanDuel SGP possibilities, and a tremendous volume of player bets and game props. The juice is low, and the options are rife, perfect for anyone seeking high-value bets.

The sportsbook has flexible bonus bet requirements, only stating round robin wagers are off limits, but otherwise, these bonus bets can be used on practically all other wagers. They tend to favor profit boosts over bonus bets with their weekly promos, but FanDuel has daily shuffles, friend referral, survivor pools, and a “Play YourWay” feature which allows you to pick alternative lines and create customized player props. It is also worth noting they offer personalized bonuses, occasionally dispensing bonus bets if you haven’t won in a while.

Huge range of sports betting markets

Best-in-class mobile app

Generous bonuses

24/7 live chat customer support

Match Your Bets up to $100 in FanCash, Daily for 10 Days

Anyone who was betting back in 2023 and before will remember PointsBet in the US, a brand that attracted attention but then vanished. Well, it was acquired by Fanatics Inc, the popular sports merch distributor, who then rebranded the sportsbook and launched Fanatics Sportsbook. Between then and now, Fanatics has spread to over 20 states across the country, and it has quickly become one of the go-to betting sites for US bettors. Fanatics has a strong arsenal of betting markets and features, as well as an innovative approach to rewards.

For every bet you place with odds of +400 and over, you can earn bonus credits on your wagers. The welcome bonus includes Fanatics bonus credits, so you can get a feel for how it works. This is essentially a loyalty scheme through which you can earn bonus credits, and then convert them either into bonus bets or purchase odds multipliers (profit boosts, in other words), on your wagers. This flexibility, and the ability to earn the credits on practically any bet over +400 makes Fanatics a highly attractive destination for anyone who wants good value and a steady inflow of bonus bets.

Pros

Wide sports coverage and high value bets

Intuitive mobile interface with sturdy mobile apps

Continuous betting credits and promos

Excellent mobile parlay and SGP functions

Live streams and loads of microbets

Cons

Limited betting markets

Payments could be processed quicker

Sportsbook vs Sportsbook Bonus Analysis

Now let’s explore exactly how sportsbooks reward players, and the differences in the bonuses you can get at these shortlisted top sportsbooks.

The welcome offers at the various sportsbooks are all eye-catching and, for the most part, larger than the regular bonuses offered to existing players. This does make sense, as these are one-time offers that are made to bring in new customers, giving them enough resources to hit the ground running at the sportsbook.

After this, there are loads of different types of bonus bets to check out, which we will quickly run through before comparing sportsbooks vs sportsbooks.

Types of Bonus Bets

Bonus bets are traditionally single tokens that can be used to fund a wager. You are not playing to win the bonus itself; it is just a stake that is covered by the house, but instead you play the bonus bet for the potential winnings. For example, if you place a $10 bonus bet on odds of +200 would bring returns of $20, and not $30. The $10 stake is not included.

There are many different types of bonus bets, and sportsbook credit offers that can be used similarly, which we detail in our beginner’s guide to bonus bets. You can brush up on them there; here we will just give a round-up of the various offers you will come across at our top-listed sportsbooks

Bonus Bets:

• Welcome Offers
• Bet and Get
• No Sweat Bets
• Second Chance Bets
• Insurance Bonus Bets

Credits/Bonus Funds:

• Cashback or Loyalty Programs
• Free games
• Bracket tournaments or contests
• Survivor pools

Profit and Odds Boosts:

• Profit Boost Tokens
• Fixed or Daily Odds Boosts
• SGP/Parlay Boost Tokens
• Game-Specific Boosts

By Sportsbook Analysis

All of our listed sportsbooks have bonus bets and offers, but the way these are distributed or organized varies by book. Some focus more on boosts than standard bonus bets; others may have loyalty incentives that are the primary source for your bonus bets. So, depending on what you are after, we will pick out the best books for each type of reward.

Important Disclaimer:

Please note – bonus bets for existing customers are liable to change. Most are time-restricted or limited-run offers, so if you don’t find a specific type of bet on offer at a book we mentioned, it may be because that specific offer it out of season or not currently available.

We are just listing the offers based on our experience reviewing the sportsbooks, and backing it up with real user feedback. But you should always check the current offers for yourself, and whether or not they are available in your state.

Recurring Bonus Bet Offers

After the welcome bonus, many US sportsbooks have recurring bonus bet offers, which can relate to specific events, run through the regular season or playoffs of a major sports league, or crop up right before hyped up events. DraftKings is one of the top sportsbooks for reload bonus bet offers, especially for MLB, NFL, soccer, and NBA betting. Especially bet and get offers, or insurance/no sweat bets.

Though we would be amiss not to mention FanDuel as well, this sportsbook also has lots of bonus bet offers, but they are usually personalized based on your activity. In customer feedback, we have seen reports of users getting offered bonus bets to reward frequent betting periods, or as compensation for losing runs. It is not as fixed as DraftKings, but FanDuel is good for frequent bettors.

Daily Odds Boosts

These are a more common type of bonus in Europe and the UK, but in sportsbooks like Caesars and even occasionally BetMGM, we have found odds boost offers. While not strictly bonus bets, these offer you a shot at betting on markets for unbeatable odds.

They are good if you are looking for high-value wagers, but the problem with these is that the markets and odds boost combo bets are all preselected by the book. With a good value betting tool, you can assess the true value of the boosts and take advantage of the offers that present truly good opportunities.

Caesars Sportsbook

4.1/5 Caesars Sportsbook review

Bet $1 Get 10x 100% Profit Boosts

Join Caesars

Eligible new Caesars Sportsbook accountholders can earn ten 100% Profit Boosts (“Profit Boosts”) by successfully opening a Caesars Sportsbook account and making a Qualifying Wager of $1.00 or more. The promotion begins at 12:00 pm local time on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, and ends at 11:59 am local time on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Promotion is offered by American Wagering, Inc. (“Caesars”).

Profit Boosts

Nearly all US sportsbooks offer boost tokens, which give you better flexibility than the odds boosts. These are odds boot tokens that you can apply to the bets that you want, and at sportsbooks like FanDuel you get profit boosts for parlays and SGPs too.

While we have found that all of our shortlisted sportsbooks offer profit boosts, there is a vast difference in quality between the promos at DraftKings and FanDuel and the rest. The boosts drop more frequently, they are tied to more sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, Soccer, Golf, etc), and the boost percentages can be a lot more favorable (25, 30 and even 50% profit boosts)

Loyalty Programs and Cashback

Loyalty programs are a big draw for some bettors, as these are more direct than recurring bonus bet offers. Instead of waiting around for an offer to come by, your activity earns you a type of credit or comp points, which can be collected and then redeemed for bonus bets.

Classic loyalty programs comprise multiple tiers, with increasing bonuses as you climb to higher tier statuses. For example, at Caesars there are birthday bonus bets for all players, and a monthly bonus bet for players who reach Platinum status. Fanatics, on the other hand, doesn’t have a standard loyalty program, but uses a credit system as a type of cashback for your bets, giving value to active bettors.

Brackets, Pools, Contests and Free Games

While these are not, strictly speaking, bonus bets, they do give you shots at winning prizes which you can either cash out or use to fund your bets (depending on whether or not there are wagering conditions). We are talking about games and contests offered at sportsbooks, including Survivor Pools, Playoff Brackets, Predict Scores games, and loads more. We have seen these types of free games and prize pool contests at FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars, but the offerings at BetMGM and DraftKings stand out from the crowd.

BetMGM has massive prize pools to offer in its NBA, MLB, Soccer, NFL, and one-off jackpot games. They are frequent, offer bigger prizes, and you can also catch some UK-style predict soccer scores games crop up from time to time. DraftKings, on the other hand, has exciting Survivor Pools, Playoff Squares challenges, and an entire Pools lobby dedicated to leaderboard-style betting contests.

Bonus Bet Strategy

The worst thing bettors can do with bonus bets is take them for granted. There are no risks to using a bonus bet, as if your bet loses, you are not losing any money. But bonus bets are an opportunity, and one that should not be squandered.

You should weigh the risks, factoring in that the stake is not included in the potential returns. Ideally, these should not be placed on bets with astronomically long odds, nor on wagers that have extremely short odds and return mere cents on each dollar. Finding the middle ground, doing your homework with your next picks, and making smarter betting choices are just as important with real money betting as they are with bonus bets.

There are several associated strategies you can try out, which we have guides about:

• Smarter bonus bet application
• Matched betting with tools
• Converting bonus bets to cash

Bonus Bet Conditions

Another important aspect of bonus bets is the conditions that they are offered with. These terms pretty much shape how you can use your bonus bets, defining what you can and cannot use the bonus bets for:

• Minimum odds requirements
• Eligible markets
• Game/league-tied bonuses
• Maximum win caps/limits

Then, there are conditions relating to how you can apply the tokens when staking bets. For instance, they may be single tokens that cannot be used as a partial stake – you get a $10 bonus bet, and you have to place a bet with a $10 stake. Other bonus bets may allow you to combine real money with the bonus bet, so you place a $20 bet and stake $10 of it with real money, and $10 with the bonus bet. Again, the bonus stake will not be included in any returns.

These are all important to check out, and the exact conditions vary from one bonus to the next. Just because you get 2 bonus bets at DraftKings, it doesn’t mean both follow exactly the same criteria, so check the rules for each.

By State

Bonus bets can have state restrictions, which is why you should always check the sportsbook offer for yourself. This goes for all bonuses, from the welcome offer to any reload or seasonal promotions. For instance, a welcome offer may be slightly different in a specific state.

From a legal perspective, the promotions may differ because the state has laws restricting specific types of offers, such as a no-deposit bonus or a win/loss condition for bonus bets. It can also depend on the market that the sportsbook wants to target in a state. In states that have just legalized sports betting, the offers may be more custom-tailored or different from the standard welcome offers at a sportsbook.

By Sportsbook

Most sportsbooks have rules about minimum odds, eligible betting markets, and qualifying actions required to claim the bonus bets. In our minimum deposit betting guide, we explain how some books have lower qualifying deposit/wager standards to claim bet and get offers – DraftKings and FanDuel are among the best for this, with the action usually set at $5+ or $10+.

Caesars, with its many odds boost offers, has lots of maximum stake or maximum win cap restrictions placed on these daily odds boosts. Fanatics, on the other hand, has a unique loyalty-type cashback scheme, but this has strict minimum odds requirements on the percentages through which you can earn the cashback.

Expiration Rules

There are two expiration timeframes that you should be aware of. One is the expiration date for claiming your bonus bet – this is the time period where you have to complete a qualifying action to redeem the bonus bet. The second is the time the bonus bet remains valid for, after which the sportsbook takes back the offer.

For Qualifying Actions

Expiration dates for claiming the bonus can be a week, a few days, or be tied to the start of a sports game. For example, with welcome bonuses you usually have around 1 week to claim your bonus bets after you sign up. That means 1 week to make a qualifying deposit, and potentially a wager too – which must settle within the week for you to get your bonus bets. A bonus bet that is tied to an event, such as the next Super Bowl game, will only be valid up until the game starts. You have until then to complete any qualifying actions to get your bonus bet.

For the Bonuses

The bonus validity timeframe starts from the moment you claim your bonus bets. It can be a week, days, or tied to a specific event. The idea is that you should use this bonus and it should settle before the time period expires. The winnings you make from bonus bets can have playthrough requirements, but this is not common practise at US sportsbooks.

We have seen it more at offshore books or blacklisted sites. Requirements like 10x mean you would need to roll over any returns won through bonus bets that many times to be able to cash out any money.

Again, this is not common practise at US sportsbooks. Instead, the money you win is yours to claim. Expiration dates generally apply to the timeframe in which you have to use your bonus bet, and the bet should settle.
