StatisticSports is a specialized football betting software that focuses on in-play betting alerts. This app is ideally suited for punters who make quickfire live bets, picking out opportunities as they arise, at critical turns in play or when momentum is building. The software only covers football, but it spreads this coverage to virtually all the international and domestic league matches across the world, and the market depth explores all kinds of player bets, team and game props, and niche football wagers.

To make it clear, this is not a software that generates daily AI footie picks or offers extensive line shopping with EV probabilities; it offers extensive research on prematch and in-play bets. StatisticSports does offer percentages on different markets, as a guideline to help you assess the probabilities, but the main function of this software is to gather important statistics and catch in-play metrics so you can take advantage in your live bets.

What is StatisticSports?

Launched back in 2013, this football betting software is designed to read odds, scan important prematch and live statistics, and send you alerts to keep you up to date with any building momentum in a football match or any changes in the odds. Whereas other tools or betting software we have reviewed focus more on prematch bets, scanning multiple bookies and breaking down the odds into probabilities and winning percentages, StatisticSports takes on a more research-driven approach.

It has a thorough scope of statistical analysis, tracking footie games and picking out key moments in play that can lead to big odds changes, and sends you notifications to keep you in the loop. Or, you can keep the spreadsheets and live game data open while you watch a match, analysing the figures behind the match and filtering for the last 5, 10 or 15 minutes, comparing them with full match stats. It is really designed for the avid footie fan who focuses on in-play bets.

StatisticSports Main Features

This software has a steep learning curve, and there are lots of filters, settings and preferences to tweak to your needs. First, there are some important aspects to highlight about the service. StatisticSports does not provide line shopping – you can’t compare betting odds and lines at different bookies. It takes all the betting lines and odds from bet365, and uses this as a frame for the analysis. Next, this software is not really designed to generate AI football picks blindly, instead, it gives you figures and real-time live stats to help look for opportunity, and take advantage of momentum in a match.

You can use StatisticSports as a research software for your prematch wagers, with tables and sheets of detailed stats. But the main draw of the platform is its quick in-play data and figures, which can give footie punters a massive edge. The coverage extends to virtually every footie game played across the world, including domestic leagues, lower-tier football matches and even various eSports football matches.

Live In-Play Dashboard

This is where StatisticSports presents all of the ongoing matches, with relevant statistical information and main betting market odds. The Live in-play dashboard provides easy to follow stats, in-play odds movements, and has key momentum change filters to give you the gist of the direction the match is heading in. You can tweak all these settings, focusing on detailed stats such as cards, shots on/off target, corners, attacks or dangerous attacks, and compare the stats across fixed time intervals.

The Momentum Change is a must to learn. This sets up filters comparing stats from the previous 10, 15, 25 minutes, and so on, and you can toggle on/off the markets that you want to explore. If you are looking for live bets on corners, shots on target, cards, goals, or anything else, you can switch off the other panels and filter the momentum changes to the relevant time interval – such as just the last 10 minutes, and check all the options. It is also worth highlighting that for all live matches, StatisticSports displays 3 different odds on each market. These are the Opening Odds, Closing Odds, and Live Odds. So you can check the prices when the bet first went live, the odds at the moment the match started (closing line value), and the current, live odds.

Game Page Analytics

Click on any match, and you will open the Game Page. The first feature you will see is the interactive game actions pitch, which displays the score, key moments in a match along a timeline, and an animated field display that gives a simple rendering of what is happening right now. You can filter the options on the timeline to get only the relevant data you need, and underneath there are tables with last matches data, home/away records, and charts that present detailed last match accounts with: goals, penalties, corners, shots on/off target, attacks, dangerous attacks, possession, and more.

The recent game data is highly useful for brushing up on the circumstances building up to the game, and getting an idea of how either team performed in their recent matches, with time intervals and attack analysis and other important momentum metrics. Another tool in the Game Page is the in-play statistics comparison tool, where StatisticSports generates a table over time, with the odds on either team over time showing in-play line movements and shifts.

Superior Notification Setup

The alert setup at StatisticSports is extremely meticulously designed. It doesn’t just relay any important line changes, but also keeps you up to date with important match stats, momentum changes, match events, and you can tailor updates for specific markets. The notification setup boasts over 100,000 combinations of alerts, and to get started there are preset notifications that you can explore.

For instance, the opening odds on the home team to score 2+ goals, and set up your value (odds line). StatisticSports follows odds movements from the moment the bets are listed on bet365, to the closing line value and into the live odds. The configurations are detailed, but user friendly. We recommend starting with a preset, tweaking it to your needs, and then sitting back and waiting for the notifications to come flying in. The StatisticSports subscription packages each have their limits on the number of notifications you can set up. On Lite, you can’t set up any. The Deluxe package allows up to 4 pre-set notifications and 5 active notifications, and with the Platinum you can set up unlimited notifications, 10 active notifications and even priority notifications.

Notification Spreadsheet and Backtesting

These notifications are recorded in a spreadsheet, and act as a type of bet tracker or bankroll management tool. It is not a traditional bankroll management software, but instead you keep logs of the notifications you receive and use, checking out the total stacked, your profits, your yields per game, and filtering your results. This is territory that most alert and notification tools do not observe. You can compare how your notified bets fare and make tweaks to your betting strategy based on what works, and how much betting value the notifications yield.

The other key feature for adapting your notifications to success is the StatisticSports backtesting. You can test your notifications and betting models on previous data, using all the available data that StatisticSports has recorded. This is a unique feature that can completely change your game. Master the backtesting tool and you won’t need to start from scratch. You can build your notification models, then see how they fare. With the Deluxe package, you can run tests going back to 1 year or 25,000 matches – whichever comes first. This is enhanced to 2 years or 50,000 matches with the Platinum tier.

Mobile Apps

The desktop site has a plethora of filters, features, comprehensive stats tables and complicated software tools. It is pretty data-intensive, but StatisticSports has designed mobile apps that make all the features accessible from your mobile devices. Whatever subscription you hold, you can access your account on 2 devices – a mobile or handheld device and a desktop. The mobile apps have a slightly simplified screen, but they provide all the same functions as the desktop site with mobile-responsive menus and screens.

You can set up notifications, test your custom notification configurations in the backtesting, and access all the football data you need on your mobile device. Plus, receive all those important notifications, so you can capitalise on value odds or key line shifts.

StatisticSports Pricing – Is It Worth the Money?

StatisticSports is not a cheap software, though it breaks down the service into three different packages. You can choose between monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly and yearly billing, with discounts for longer billing cycles.

If you sign up through our OddsPlays links, you can get a 7 day free trial of your chosen subscription at StatisticSports. This gives you time to test the functions, explore how they gel into your strategy, and then you can decide which subscription best meets your needs.

Lite

€17 – €14.75 per month (based on billing cycle)

The Lite subscription only gives you access to the live events chart, value game alerts, momentum metrics, live odds and the possibility to favorite markets or matches, and make your own notes. It is really just a basic service for researching your bets, but you won’t be able to set up notifications, make advanced stat comparisons or view the live odds tables/graphs.

Deluxe

€37 – €31.42 per month (based on billing cycle)

The Deluxe unlocks all of these important functions. It gives you basic backtesting, 5 active and 4 preset notification configurations, and you can receive these notifications in the mobile app. You also get the full live odds tables, full filter package, and graphical data cards to help make quicker and more precise comparisons.

Platinum

€77 – €64.75 per month (based on billing cycle)

But if you want to unlock unlimited notifications, then you can upgrade to Platinum. This is a costly service, but you get to make as many notification configurations as you need, and the backtesting is also improved with 2 years/50,000 match testing. The Platinum subscription also allows you to make priority notifications, and you get early access to any new features that StatisticSports rolls out.

What Could Be Improved on StatisticSports

StatisticSports does not really compare with many of the other football betting software kits we have reviewed, because it is so distinct in nature. There are comparable research tools that draw up data sheets, crunch probabilities and even compare betting odds at different UK bookmakers. But StatisticSports is designed with the intention to hit value in-play bets, and use statistics as a point of reference to gain an edge.

The backtesting and notification spreadsheets are two powerful tools, alongside the notification configurations themselves. We felt that if the service improved with a more general bankroll tool, to help punters allocate their funds and perhaps even use stake sizing strategies, this could greatly improve the service.

The other area that we felt could be optimised is the presentation. StatisticSports does not skip out on any important data point, but these could be assembled into more user friendly graphs or charts, potentially with custom setups to help make comparing odds movements or in-play statistics quicker for users. After all, you are dealing with live data, and quick decision making is key to getting good value while it is hot.

Is StatisticSports Legit?

Yes, StatisticSports has been around since 2013, and has partnered with tipster services like Sport Brokers and other betting tools such as TradeMate Sports. StatisticSports is based in Estonia, and has social media channels on X, Meta, Telegram, InstaGram and YouTube. It has estbalished itself as a go-to service for football punters in the UK, and also offers customer support through its live chat service.

Who StatisticSports Is For

A football betting software dedicated to live betting, this is really a software that can be used by any football fan. The cost of the service, and the detail into which StatisticSport goes with notifications and stats reading gives us the impression this platform is better suited to intermediate to expert punters.

Setting up those notifications, via detailed configurations and testing, takes time. It also takes time to understand how the in-play dashboard and game pages process data, and how you can use this to enhance your live betting strategy. It is best suited to frequent punters, who make lots of live bets and need software to keep them up to date with any important changes, and track their progress. These are areas that StatisticSports excels in.

Related Reviews

It is tricky to find relevant competitors to StatisticSports, as this tool falls somewhere between an odds alerts service and a statistical research tool for football. If we are just looking at the latter, we can suggest you look at FootyMetrics, a software dedicated to analyzing footie metrics, picking out key trends, finding props, and giving you an idea of the probabilities – in brilliantly graphically designed charts. But it

Another option is TradeMate Sports, an app that has odds tracking, market analysis, and real time updates. This is more of an all-rounder software that doesn’t just focus on live bets and alerts, but also gives you value betting insights and bankroll strategies. But if you want to look for tools that specialise in custom notifications and catching in-play bets, then we can point you towards ValueBetFactory and PinnacleOddsDropper. VBF has EV+ analysis, but the main focus is on tracking odds across different bookmakers (most are US-based though). PinnacleOddsDropper, on the other hand, just tracks the odds at the bookie Pinnacle, sending you alerts based on the odds movements at the sharp bookmaker, rather than focusing on the stats.

Our Verdict

Ultimately, StatisticSports is fairly priced given its unique setup and in-play betting strategy. It has a very distinct approach to in-play bets, and one that can give frequent punters a massive edge in their live bets and cash out tactics.

The configurations and statistical information displays may be tough to learn at first, but StatisticSports has loads of guides to help you get to grips with the approach. It is not for all, we wouldn’t recommend it to beginners or to footie fans who don’t use in-play betting markets. But anyone who is looking to get an edge and can make the time to set up their configurations can use StatisticSports to take their in-play bets to a whole new level.
