It simplifies the matched betting process with comprehensive guides and excellent odds-matching software. Then, when you have gained enough experience and feel more confident with using the software, you can upgrade to the Pro package, which will take your betting strategy to another level.

What is OddsMonkey?

OddsMonkey is a subscription-based matched betting tool that helps users maximise profits from bookmaker bonuses and promotions. The platform launched in 2011 initially as just an odds-matching service. They were pioneers at the time, with nobody else offering software that enabled users to compare lay and back odds instantly and avoid the time-consuming activity involved in finding bets.

In 2016, OddsMonkey launched a new site offering a complete matched betting package. Now, it combines tools, training, and community support, which helps to simplify matched betting and boost your bankroll.

What Users Say About OddsMonkey

Positive Feedback Negative Feedback
It’s such a great way to make extra money on the side and I wouldn’t be able to to it without OddsMonkey Had to deposit £20 for an account for one meeting site and that’s fine but then it later said I needed to deposit £205 into Smarkets just for me to make my first tiny bit of profit
Their website has all the tutorials you need to get to grips with all the different types of bets and the processes and you can do it at your own pace so you make sure you’re comfortable with what you’re doing Waste of time, followed the instructions and got me to place bets as required for the free bet etc. Couldn’t find the the corresponding bet on smarkets
Their odds matcher is indispensable for finding the right bets to place and lay and their calculators take all the hard work out of it Coral didn’t give my free bets and couldn’t find the ‘Live Chat’ option OddsMonkey suggested
Highly recommend to anyone looking to make some extra cash. Been with Odds Monkey for well over a year now and used on and off at different points of the year The software is good but the price is insane

OddsMonkey Features

OddsMonkey has several tools and up-to-date written guides that contain all of the latest bonus offers and betting techniques. What we like about OddsMonkey is that they don’t just presume everyone has the same betting experience or ability level. They offer training that is tailored to suit matched bettors of different experience levels and abilities. This gives you a level of reassurance that when you pay for a subscription, you aren’t just left to your own devices. OddsMonkey places a lot of importance on helping you every step of the way, and you can see that as soon as you log in.

OddsMatcher

OddsMonkey OddsMatcher Betting Tool

The OddsMatcher is the core tool of the OddsMonkey platform, and it was the first of its kind when it launched. It does what it says on the tin – pulls data from the best UK bookmakers and betting exchanges, so players can view the best odds backing a team or player on a bookie and laying on an exchange. It compares odds from over 80 bookies, and, going from user comments, there are opportunities here that aren’t available on other betting tools.

This tool is simple to use. There is a list of sports events presented with odds from multiple bookies, ranked in order of which present the best arbitrage opportunities. There are also direct links available to these sports events and exchanges, which is a great addition as it is a nice time saver. You can also filter specific sports, bookies, and markets. It is very customisable, you can also adjust for market ratings and odds, just set your preferences, and away you go.

This tool has been designed to be as helpful as possible. There is no need to worry about working out the maths, OddsMatcher has a calculator tool that works out your estimated profit or loss. All we would say is don’t always choose the most profitable option every time. Doing this all the time could result in the bookie becoming aware of your account and then placing restrictions on you. Make sure you use the filters to avoid this scenario.

Racing Matcher

This tool lists horse racing events with free bet bonuses when you must place a qualifying stake. The software then provides the best lay odds available across the best exchanges. Any races that have a promo will be listed. Select the race you are interested in, and you will be able to view all of the runners in order of lowest qualifying loss. With this information, you can then make a more informed decision on whether it is worth placing the qualifying bet based on the prices.

Extra Place Matcher

This is similar to the racing matcher in that it lists horse racing events that have extra place promotions with bookmakers. Once again the one of the main benefits of using this tool is the time it saves. You don’t need to look for eligible races and manually check the bookie and exchange for close odds. The extra place matcher will do that for you, including working out your back and lay stakes.

Each Way Matcher

This is one of the more advanced tools on the OddsMonkey platform. If you are new to matched betting, we would encourage you to build up some experience before getting in to each way matching, but it is a great way to boost your potential profits. The each way matcher analyses thousands of odds and each way prices from numerous bookmakers. The calculator will tell you how much you need to lay on the place and win parts of the overall bet.

If you upgrade to the ‘Pro’ version on the OddsMonkey ‘All Access’ plan, you can filter out the ‘bad’ each way races that are at most risk of being flagged by a bookie.

Acca Matcher

OddsMonkey AccaMatcher Tool

If you like the idea of placing an acca but can’t be bothered to go and make the picks yourself, the Acca Finder on OddsMonkey is a great tool. It auto-generates accumulator bets by comparing exchange and bookie odds across multiple sites, so all you need to do is make your picks from a convenient list.

Personally, for Acca bets, I prefer having more control, but there are still features you can use if that is the case. You can take advantage of the no lay acca builder to calculate your acca’s expected value, while still choosing the legs of the acca yourself. You can customise your bets by setting maximum or minimum odds, specifying whether your acca is a two-fold or five-fold, and then enter how long it will run.

Dutch Matcher

Dutching is another betting technique where you back all of the outcomes of an event, and it is seen as an alternative to laying. It covers the outcomes at various bookmakers rather than simply using a betting exchange. So, you back team A on one bookie and then team B on another.

Betting Calculators

OddsMonkey has a range of excellent betting calculators. In fact, I have not seen as many calculators on any other platform, although I’m not sure all of them are needed. In addition to the ones you would expect to see, they also provide calculators that can help if you find yourself in a tricky situation. This could be things like if you have placed an unwanted lay bet or your horse finished in a dead heat. Unlikely, but it can happen. If those types of situations ever arise, these calculators are valuable.

Profit Tracker

OddsMonkey Profit Tracker

Keeping track of all of your open bets can be challenging for matched bettors. In the past, people have created spreadsheets and then manually updated them as and when necessary. OddsMonkey removes this need by allowing you to record all of your activity directly from their tools. With one click of a button, all of your selected back and lay bets will be added to your records. You also have the option to manually add bets to the tracker to keep everything in one place.

OddsMonkey Pricing – Is It Worth The Money?

There are three membership tiers at OddsMonkey – Starter, Advanced, and Pro. The starter plan is £39.99 per month or £249.99 for the year. You will have access to lots of matched betting content, customer support, and alerts.

The Advanced tier is £49.99 per month or £349.99 for the year. It includes everything in the Starter pack with the addition of thousands of casino offers and access to the BOG matcher, which stands for best odds guaranteed.

The Pro tier is a big jump in price to £149.99 per month or £999.99 per year. This has everything in the other two tiers including access to the 2UP EV tool, the extra place EV, the lucky finder EV, and the price boost matcher. The main idea behind this package is that you profit from finding bets where the odds offered by the bookies exceed the probability of an outcome.

In terms of value for money, you really have to weigh up how much you can make compared to the subscription price. If you are not confident in matched betting yet, sign up for the starter plan and go from there. However, if you are an experienced matched bettor, we certainly feel OddsMonkey is worth it.

It saves a lot of time, and by sticking to a plan, there is evidence from thousands of users that you can make your subscription cost back and far more.

What Could be Improved on OddsMonkey?

Most of the user feedback on OddsMonkey is positive, and that has also generally been my experience on using this service. However, no site is perfect, and there are certain things that could make this site even better. I would say the recent updates to the site have made it less user-friendly. I seem to be finding far more 404-page not found errors than I did before the updates. Even today, trying to login, I have been having trouble.

We have also noted that lots of users have reported frustrations with the billing process; however, we have never experienced any problems with that.

Is OddsMonkey Legit?

Yes, OddsMonkey was founded in 2011 and has since become one of the most prominent sites for matched betting. There is a strong community of over 500,000 members across the UK, and they also have an active Discord group.

Who is OddsMonkey for?

OddsMonkey is for bettors who are willing to sign up for a lot of bookie accounts and regularly log in to those accounts. You must be willing to put in the time and effort to claim free bets and other promotions, so you don’t miss out and can meet the returns OddsMonkey says it will deliver.

You don’t even need to be a bettor in the traditional sense, just follow the steps laid out to maximise the bonuses. The Pro package is for serious bettors who will use this tool as a big part of their betting strategy and are willing to spend larger amounts of money.

Our Verdict

If you are confident enough that you know exactly what matched betting is and you want to take the next step by using some premium features, we can certainly recommend OddsMonkey. They provide a wide range of tools that have proven they can increase player profits, justifying the subscription fee. When you consider there is also a thriving community and customer service that is with you every step of the way, it’s an excellent choice to enhance your matched betting strategy.
