Nexus Odds Main Features

The betting software at Nexus Odds covers lots of ground, and it doesn’t feel overly complex or specialized in just a single betting strategy. The odds screen displays the going lines and prices for bets at different US sportsbooks. From there, you can open the EV+ screen to get filtered high value bets.

There are also arbitrage and promo conversion screens, where Nexus Odds pinpoints hot hedged betting pairings for you to plug and play, for high ROIs. The Bet Tracker, not to be forgotten, is perfect for analyzing your historical results, so you know where your money is best spent and which areas of your strategy to improve.

Line Shopping

You can shop for the best lines at over 20+ US sportsbooks, including the best conventional sportsbooks, alternative betting platforms, and even prediction markets. Nexus Odds covers all bets for the major US sports leagues, including the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, WNBA and college sports. You can filter the results by book, by sport, and even by game.

Nexus Odds has an impressive array of betting markets covered, with all kinds of game derivatives, alternate betting lines, and game and player props, in addition to the standard moneylines, spreads and totals. You can filter these, favorite any of them, and look for the best odds and lines. The interface allows you to drag and drop sportsbooks, set automatic refresh rates, and view the best price and average to gauge market consensus.

EV+ Analysis

There are many ways to assess the value of the bets and Nexus Odds is pretty open about how it calculates these results. On the main EV+ screen, you get EV+ bets, their weighting, the odds, the best book, fair odds, EV percentage and their ratings from 1 star to 5 stars. You can apply filters to narrow down the list by EV percentage, weighting, rating, kelly criterion stake size, and odds range, among other important criteria.

But what makes this EV+ dashboard highly valuable is the Weighting and Configuration settings. You can change the default weightings for different sportsbooks, filter the search to specific books, and even apply custom weightings depending on the betting market. You aren’t just looking for plug ‘n play picks, but you can tweak the EV parameters to get results that align with your betting knowledge and expertise.

Arbitrage and Promo Conversion

The automatic refreshes and quick scanners make Nexus Odds perfectly suited for arbitrage betting. Open the arbitrage screen and the betting tool lists out positive ROI arbs, with filters for sportsbooks, leagues, betting markets, and arbitrage return percentages. There are arbitrage bets on moneylines, spreads, totals, game props, player props and team props, and the bet sizes and profits are automatically calculated based on your Bet Amount input.

The alternative hedged betting strategy offered at Nexus Odds is matched betting. You start by entering what kind of bonus you have, and which sportsbook it is offered at. You can pick between any of the top US sportsbooks, including DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics and Caesars, among many more. Then, the bet amount and the type of promo you have – picking between:

  • Classic bonus bets
  • Profit boosts
  • Qualifying bets
  • “Risk Free” (No Sweat Bets)
  • Site Credit (Bonus Funds)

You can then filter the types of betting markets and games – to tick any required conditions for your bonus bets (such as $10 on NFL games, no teasers and no live bets), and then check out the results. Both matched betting and arbitrage betting are made simple and accessible at Nexus Odds, with good quality pairings for high ROI.

Bet Tracking

The bet tracker does the basics, covering your previous bets and logging important information for future review. You get stats such as the markets, odds, fair odds, stake, and bet type (arbitrage, EV+, promo conversion, etc). You can view your overall record, check the chart for your result performance, and filter down by the last 7 days, month, 3 months, year to date or all time.

What we didn’t really like is that this function is not fully synced to your sportsbooks or betting. You need to manually add the bet yourself, and enter the inputs unless you choose EV+ or arbitrage bets straight from the portals. We have reviewed better bet trackers and bankroll management software. With integrated bet syncing and showing more figures/stats such as filtering results by bet type, EV or ROI %, and perhaps most importantly, CLV beating %. But given the price of this tool, and how the Bet Tracker is not one of the key feautures, we felt it was a neat touch and didn’t expect it to compete against premium betting tools that cost double or triple the price.

Custom Alerts

The real time notifications can be activated for mobvile devices, via Discord. These give you instant updates when chosen markets or games have EV+ wagers, with the percentage of the EV displayed in your notification. Now consider that you can create custom weightings for these EV+ criteria, set the Devigging method (between multiplicative, additive, power or worst case), and set minimum books and book requirements. Those are not just generic EV+ percentages, but calculated value bets based on your preferences and custom weighting criteria.

Nexus Odds does not have mobile apps, so you can only set up the notifications through the Discord server. This is a slight drawback, but it is not uncommon for betting tools of this price range to rely on a Discord server (or Telegram for that matter), so just like the Bet Tracker, we didn’t want to judge it too harshly.

Nexus Odds Value for Money

There is just one subscription offered at Nexus Odds, which has all the features and software. You can sign up easily by following the steps on the site, enter your payment details via Stripe, and checkout, purchasing the Nexus Odds premium.

$30/month (yearly billing)

The price is extremely competitive given what Nexus Odds can do. There aren’t many arbitrage betting tools at this price range, let alone those that have custom EV+ weightings, a bet tracker, alert setup, and even a promo conversion tool. The coverage is also highly impressive, with player props, game props and rare team bets, in addition to the standards totals, spreads and moneylines. Nexus Odds covers a good range of US sportsbooks, including social sportsbooks, peer to peer betting apps, DFS, and even prediction markets.

If you sign up through our links to Nexus Odds, you can get a 7 day free trial of the software, which is ample time to test out these functions.

Stand Out Points of Nexus Odds

You can’t really compare Nexus Odds with the premium betting tools that cover the same ground. The likes of OddsJam, OddsShopper, Outlier.Bet or Pick The Odds have a similar range of features, but OddsJam and OddsShopper will set you back around $100 per month, instead of the $30-$40 that Nexus Odds will. Pick the Odds has a free version and multiple payment tiers, but if you aren’t paying for the $100 Intermediate or $150 advanced plan (per month), you are looking at strict ROI % limits on the features.

Outlier.bet is quite similar to Nexus Odds, and beats it just slightly with the addition of statistical research, mobile apps, and soccer coverage – but the EV+ is not as defined and the software focuses primarily on player props instead of standard markets and game props. We feel Nexus Odds definitely lives up to its price tag, and suits both experts and beginners alike.

Areas to Improve

Naturally, there are a few areas where we felt the service could improve. The first is the launch of mobile apps, which would help Nexus Odds become far more accessible, and give better weight to those real time alerts. The bet tracker, which we felt covered the basics, could have market filtering and some more analytics for users to identify key trends or patterns in their betting. That being said, introducing sportsbook syncing and CLV % metrics may impact the price tag of the software.

If there were one more thing we would mention, it is that the sports covered feels just a little on the lighter side. Nexus Odds covers the major US sports, and does it well, but it doesn’t do soccer, tennis, golf, and other sports outside the major ones.

Is Nexus Odds Legit

Yes, Nexus Odds was launched in 2024, and the betting tool rolls out new updates every once in a while. It is run by NexusOdds LLC, a company based in Connecticut. There is not much information on the parent company, and Nexus Odds is not as mainstream as its competitors, but we felt the service was very well thought out, and customer support is readily offered.

Who Nexus Odds is For

The main concern that bettors have about this software is that there isn’t really much information online about Nexus Odds, and it doesn’t have a massive X following or brand visibility. Most bettors want to sign up to a platform that they can trust, and that has lots of user feedback and a very active social media presence to show the app is a top performer and is still in use. Nexus Odds has a media presence, and we did find user feedback on this tool, but we felt that it really doesn’t live up to what the tool has to offer.

With that in mind, we feel that this tool is really suited to any betting strategy, and your level of experience doesn’t really matter because you can learn the ropes quickly. But you have to look beyond its relative obscurity in what is, let’s face it, an extremely competitive market. You can use Nexus Odds for finding arbs, locating high value EV, converting your bonus bets or profit boosts, or even for simple line shopping and bet tracking.

If you aren’t quite convinced, you can still use the free trial, and cancel the impending subscription before you get charged – testing out Nexus Odds for 7 days to see how the tool feels and performs.

Our Verdict

We would definitely recommend Nexus Odds, it ticks all the boxes in our review and has great potential for bettors seeking value, arbs, and the best lines. The customizable EV settings are a rarity for tools at this price range, and while they do cut some corners (no mobile apps, simple bet tracker), the pros outweigh the cons.

Nexus Odds offers good value for the money, and it can definitely serve as a confident alternative to the likes of OddsShopper or OddsJam (without the mobile apps and advanced bet tracking analytics). It can give you the same results as competitive arbitrage-only betting tools, but beats them with the additional EV+, promo conversion and line shopping functionalities, which make it a solid choice for us.
