Fliff Legal States

Fliff Social Sportsbook is live in all states where social sportsbooks are allowed, so you can play it in practically all states except for Idaho and the state of Washington. For residents of those states, it is important to note that you can sign up to Fliff, but you need to be outside Idaho/Washington state borders when doing so, and you can only access your account when you are outside these states.

You can easily combine these into parlays by selecting numerous bets, and selecting Parlay+.

Fliff was one of the first social sportbsooks to do live bets, an area it continues to excel in. For lesser followed games or events, you will find a standard set of betting markets, but when NFL, NBA, or major soccer games start, the live wagers roll out in abundance. Plus, you can make quickfire live parlay bets, but be fast because the odds update in realtime.

XP Points & Daily Challenges

Fliff technically has a third currency, the XP points. These can be collected for every 1,000 coins staked and for completing daily challenges. On the main sports page, just click on the Challenges portal, and every day Fliff will roll out a new set of missions. Complete these to earn XP, and then you can use these XP points to purchase gift cards or purchase Fliff Coins.

The daily challenges generally revolve around upcoming games. They range from the simplest missions such as make a straight pick, to make a wager on a hot NBA game or an upcoming soccer fixture. Whenever a big event comes around, you can expect more detailed or specific missions relating to that game.

Leaderboard Contests

Fliff doesn’t have many social features, it is more focused on solo play. But it does have regular leaderboard contests, across all sports and ones for individual sporting categories. You can climb the leaderboards with successful picks, earn badges, get more followers, and earn prizes.

Activity Portal

This is one of our favorite features at Fliff. You can check summaries of the betting tendencies of your fellow bettors on Fliff. Head to the Activity portal, and you can check the data on how many users have staked money on different picks, with total coins staked statistics. It helps gain an understanding of where the crowd is betting. Should you want to back the public consensus, you can copy these picks to your slip in one tap.

You don’t have to though. The activity portal can also be a good indicator for any value bettors who want to fade the public, and capitalize on betting against the consensus. Whatever the case, the activity portal is pretty extensive and we like the transparency that it provides.

Fun/Sweepstakes Easy Toggle

There is a toggle mode between Fliff Coins and Fliff Cash, so whenever you have accrued enough Fliff Cash to play with, you can stake it in a bet and try to win more. You don’t have bets only for the fun currency, Fliff allows you to make bets on the currency of your choice.

Fliff Superstars is a newer feature on Fliff. It is a DFS type peer to peer contest, in which you can compete against other bettors by building lineups. You can choose between 2 or more picks, selecting Over/Under player projection stats, and based on the risk level, you will get multipliers on your picks. When you build your lineup (minimum 2 picks), you then have to choose between Max Play and Flex Play. Max Play requires all your picks to win, whereas Flex Play allows you up to 1 loss.

Then, you enter contests against other Fliff users, for a chance to win prizes from a GPP (guaranteed prize pool). As for what you can pick, Fliff has all kinds of players props with alternate lines to diversify your lineups.

Fliff Streaks FTP Game

There are also running promos on these Fliff Coins packages, which tend to include bonus Fliff Cash bundles. But you cannot purchase Fliff Cash directly – it is the sweeps currency.

These packages range from $1.99 for 5,000 Fliff Coins, right up to $99.99 for 500,000 Fliff Coins (and, if there is a promo, a few hundred Fliff Cash too).

You need at least 50 Fliff Cash to make a redemption, and these are priced at 1 Fliff Cash for 1 USD. That means, payouts start from $50 upwards. Any Fliff Cash you receive from promos has a 1x rollover requirement before it can be redeemed.

On the subject of redemptions, the XP points can also be exchanged for prizes with real monetary value. For every 100 XP points you earn, you can redeem them for $1 in gift card vouchers at all affiliated merchants. These have a minimum $15 gift card theshold.

Is Fliff Legit?

Fliff has been around since 2019, and it is partnered with numerous merchants and payment providers. It is not a real money sportsbook, and therefore does not need a license to operate in the US. However, Fliff is not available in all states, and the sweepstakes currency mode is only available in 32 states.

Our Verdict

Fliff Social Sportsbook offers a pretty expansive sports betting experience. The recent additions of Fliff Streaks and Fliff Superstars just shows that this operator is not sticking to one formula, but it is constantly upping the game and improving its services.

We noted that Fliff doesn’t have many social functionalities. There are opportunities to follow other members in the leaderboards, but it is more suited for solo play. If you are more into the betting itself, and less into social engagement, betting in groups and interacting with your peers, you will find Fliff is one fantastic betting platform.

The XP points, 2-hour Fliff Coin rewards, and epic boosted odds are enough to pump up your bankroll, and there are plenty of Fliff Cash sweeps contests and bets to bring the most out of the sweeps side of the betting experience at Fliff.
