One of the most distinguishing features of the platform is that Crypto.com doesn’t just stick to $1 contracts, but it also provides $10 contracts. Diversifying the options for predictors, Crypto.com has fixed fees for $1 and $10 contracts, provides clarity and customization on slippage tolerance, and has plenty of markets for you to test out. Crypto traders can tap into many functionalities, with access to dapps, NFT trading exchanges, and the possibilities to trade over 1,000 tokens across major chains such as Ethereum, Solana and Cronos.
It also has prediction markets for sports, culture, economics, financial markets and politics. Available throughout the US, Crypto.com’s sports prediction markets have clear event contract trading on all the major US sports leagues and events, with real time prices, low fees, and advanced tools to mitigate losses and capitalize on value betting.

Signing Up and Welcome Bonus Mission
A fully licensed global trading platform, Crypto.com is registered in the US as a crypto trading exchange, and is approved of by the CFTC as a Designated Contract Market plaform. Complying with US federal laws, it must collect your personal details when you sign up, meaning you will need to verify your identity and submit your SSN number.
The sign up process is pretty straightforward, you have to submit your email address, create a password, and then verify your email address. Following this, you have to verify your identity, and all your personal information will be encrypted and safeguarded at Crypto.com. You can set up a USD account (or crypto if you want to trade with crypto), accept the T&Cs, and then make your deposit and start trading.

This can be $100 up to $500 depending on the state you are residing in, and you can trade virtually any tokens except for stablecoin pairs (USDC/BTC or USDT/USDC, anything involving a stablecoin such as USDC, USDT, TUSD, and so on).
Then, you will qualify for the CRO rewards (unique tiered benefits tied to Crypto.com’s native CRO token). Rewards are awarded at random, with all qualified users receiving a bundle of CRO tokens worth up to $500 in some jurisdictions, and as high as 1 BTC in others.
Main Features of Crypto.com
Crypto.com added prediction trading to its portfolio in late 2024, and covers a handful of popular sports. It may not have the most expansive coverage of sports, but Crypto.com strives in its professional set of features for prediction contract trading, with the ability to open multiple contracts on the same position, loss and profit limits, and accessible prices – all ideally suited to the advanced bettors who like to hedge their bets and lock in returns early.
Prediction Markets on Real World Events
Crypto.com supplies moneylines, point spreads and totals markets, with futures for longterm predictions and it can occasionally supply player specific prediction markets. The exchange covers the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, major soccer competitions, tennis games and tournaments, golf/PGA Tour, Formula 1, MMA and boxing. You can toggle between Sports and Events, the latter of which contains Election, Culture, Economics and other real world events outside sports.
While the coverage is not as great as competitors like Kalshi or Polymarket, you do get all the basics at Crypto.com. It won’t have all those niche predictions on Weather or number of Elon Musk tweets, but you get all the main markets that most predictors go for. A popular platform, there is also high liquidity ensuring you will almost always get your made orders filled, and have enough volume to make direct trading orders.

Position Limits and Slippage Tolerance
One of the most valuable tools at Crypto.com is the limit orders, which allows you to buy or sell contracts at a price of your choice. In sports betting terms, this is similar to a cash out, which you can do partially or fully, at the price of your chosing. It allows you to lock in returns if the prices reach a favorable rate.
It can be used as a cash out safety net, but given the opportunities to hold multiple positions, it has great potential for hedge betting. Open your starting positions with limit orders on selling prices, and then you can set buy limits on buying the opposing line, should the value tip in its favor.
Another great perk is the slippage tolerance. Slippage is basically the change in the price movement from the moment you place an order to when it is executed. Crypto.com gives you the option to set a slippage tolerance, in dollar value, from the displayed price to the market order, so you can regulate how much slippage factors into your order.
You can set Immediate or Cancel orders, or give a range of acceptable slippage, executing your order fully or partially. The default is $0.05 per contract, but you can adjust this in the slippage settings on the order input screen. Not all prediction markets give you this option, and instead you will have to pay for the slippage in advance, which is a pain for value bettors.
$1, $10 and Even $100 Contracts
Most prediction markets supply the standard $1 contracts, where prices cost under a dollar and for each contract you win, you get paid out $1. The majority of Crypto.com’s prediction markets have $1 contracts, but there are events with $10 or $100 contracts. There are differences in the trading fees for these contracts, and the contract range. $10 contracts can have prices between $0 and $10, and the $100 contracts can go all the way up to $100.
Though it is important to note that the maximum limits for the $1, $10 and $100 contracts are still fixed at a maximum of $2.5 million per event-level position:
- $1: Max 2,500,000 contracts ($2.5m)
- $10: Max 250,000 contracts ($2.5m)
- $100: Max 2,500 contracts ($2.5m)

Trade with 1,000+ Cryptocurrencies
Crypto.com has a wide range of cryptocurrency trading products, including spot, futures, margin trading, and leverage crypto derivatives. It covers over 400 tokens, with 1,000+ pairing options and easy banking management via fiat banking accounts. Whether you want to trade crypto, invest in ETFs or stocks, or use the leveraged crypto derivatives for advanced yet highly risky trading, Crypto.com supplies it all.
It has the features to diversify your portfolio, use Up/Down contracts that work similarly to binary prediction market products, and create advanced order types using sub accounts and bots.
Staking, Blockchain Rewards and CRO Ecosystem
You can also receive blockchain based rewards for holding CRO, the platform’s native token. You can stake these directly or use other supported assets to earn yield through the proof of stake networks. The CRO ecosystem also includes exclusive perks such as card cashback, reduced trading fees, special airdrops, and various platform perks directly tied to your CRO staking levels.
These are perhaps peripheral perks to most sports fans, but if you hold crypto assets on the platform you can use it to earn unique benefits on the side, and enhance your bankroll for your sports predictions.
Crypto.com Trading Fees
One of the biggest complaints users can have about prediction markets are the fees. As peer to peer trading exchanges, you don’t have juice on any of the event contracts, but prediction markets charge commission in the form of trading fees. This is basically how much Crypto.com charges you for trading, and there are two types of fees:
Exchange Fee
Pay when you buy the contract, and then again if you close the position early (or “cash out”). If a $1 settles a winner, the exchange fee at settlement is waived
Technology Fee
Only applies to $10 value contracts, you pay when opening or “cashing out” position. The technology fee is waived if your prediction settles a winner
Slippage
Not technically a fee, but you pay this as well when buying a contract. However – you can set the slippage tolerance in your settings
- Exchange Fees: $0.02 for $1 value contracts and $0.10 for $10 value contracts
- Technology Fees: $0.10 for $10 value contracts
You pay the exchange fees just once if you open a position and wait for it to settle, and a second time if you choose to close that position early. The thing to notice here is that the fee is charged regardless of the price of your contract.
This means you are always getting a fixed fee, and not an adjustable one that is tied to the risk/price value of your contract. If you pay for $50 and buy 100 contracts at $0.50 (50%), you are charged a total of $1 in exchange fees. Then, if your bet settles a winner, you get paid out 100 contracts x $1 – or $100, and you have paid a total of 1% in fees (disregarding slippage).
The structure of the fee schedule makes the fees extremely low, and you aren’t paying variable rates based on the risk level of your prediction – which you are at Kalshi. Crypto.com is a lot fairer, we felt.

Crypto.com Banking Methods
You can set up a USD account within the Crypto.com exchange or a crypto one, and deposit assets in the fiat or crypto currency of your choice. If you don’t want to hold crypto assets you don’t have to, simply create a USD account, send your money there via one of the supported payment gateways, and then do all your trading in USD. Crypto.com makes it easy for newcomers to crypto to purchase assets, trade and stake them, and use them to fund their predictions.

What Crypto.com Can Improve
There are definitely areas that Crypto.com can improve in its sports prediction offering. The platform is heavily geared to users who hold crypto assets, with limited USD deposit and withdrawal options, and high minimum withdrawal limits above $100.
The sports offering is better than many of the other prediction markets out there, as you can find positions on individual games, including moneylines and occasionally spreads, totals, and even props. However, it pales in comparison to what Kalshi and Polymarket have to offer.
Our Verdict
We would argue that more emphasis on the sports offering and better USD banking options would be the two areas that Crypto.com has to work on if it is to create a more competitive prediction market exchange. However, the limit orders and low fees are major perks that put Crypto.com in the race against other top tier prediction markets.
It is a good option for casual bettors and advanced ones alike, with tools that hedged bettors can use to gain an advantage.
